Uniform, Accoutrements and Vendors
We recommend that you purchase one item at a time as you participate in the hobby. Typically one or two items before, or after each event that you participate in. Our living history regiment quartermaster has a limited supply of loaner gear for members to borrow as they start. By purchasing your own uniform and gear you don't have to worry about the quartermaster supply being empty. Also, by owning your own stuff, we can loan the extra stuff to others to borrow as our membership grows.
"You get what you pay for" holds true for purchasing items from clothing vendors. Inexpensive is affordable and expensive is an authentic museum quality reproduction.
